“We had to bring our Labradoodle, Dixie, to VEG Denver late on a Friday night after she suddenly became ill. From the moment we walked in, the team was exceptional. The open treatment area let us stay close to her, everyone was kind and reassuring, and Dr. Payton Bayless took the time to explain everything clearly. Dixie received prompt treatment and was already feeling much better before we left. We hope we never need an emergency vet again, but if we do, we’ll come straight back to VEG. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our girl.”

Hospital did not obtain records or notify me that they didn't have records for the visit I scheduled. Physician was defensive and not helpful in providing clear cut advice for next steps. Told me she had no records after having spent over $8000 at VCA on same animal the prior year. Very unprofessional. VCA wants your money, not to care for your pet. Please avoid.

This was years ago at this point but I’m still haunted by what a bad experience I had at this office. This was where I took my old cat for her last vet appointment before her body finally gave out. They didn’t do anything to help her, chastised me for not having her teeth dealt with (I guess there were notes in her chart about her teeth needing work, but I had no access to this information and nobody at their other office had mentioned it; I had no idea there was a problem or I would have had it addressed). I had also mentioned that it seemed like her toes/nails were hurting her, and she was returned to me with her nails cut rough and short and in more pain than when we arrived. I asked why they did that, and they said “well you complained about her nails so we cut them.” We came to y’all in a time of need and we were not treated kindly.

I came here with a clients dog and everyone SO accommodating. They got us in very quickly, everyone was so kind, and they took very good care of Ruby which is always the most important part. :)
