I’ve adopted a number of cats here over the years. They are a great organization that truly serves the needs or the animals and the community. It’s a great place to donate a few bucks to come Colorado Gives Day. The staff are always cheery and helpful. They obviously love their jobs!

I came in unannounced just before closing on Saturday, September the 12th. My elderly cat's health had been declining and I knew that his final days were amongst us. We rushed him in after a seizure and struggling to breathe...he was suffering at that point and it was time to say goodbye. I was heartbroken. Angel was the one working at this time and he was beyond kind. He was helpful, quick-moving without making me feel rushed, tentative, caring, gentle, and even shed a tear and shared a hug with me in this painful moment. Callie was also so gentle and kind when she took my boy with her. She commented on his red bandana and I promised a picture of him in his cowboy hat. Thank you both so much for all you do. You're so appreciated.

I've adopted a few pets from Dumb Friends League over the past 15 years. The staff is decent, though if you have to surrender an animal they are extremely judgemental. But none the less I've rescued and supported this company a lot over the past 15 years. When I could I've made donations and I've lost out on hundreds of dollars before when a pet I adopted didn't work out, they just kept the money. Today someone had the nerve to call my personal phone and ask me to make monthly donations. I'm not sure I will bother with Dumb Friends League after that.. I've supported you enough, times are hard enough right now, how dare you call me and ask me to donate just because I've been going to the shelter for a long time. Shame on y'all.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They’re incredible and 1/3 of the price of a private practice. They’ve been such a blessing to us. Our dog had to have two surgeries with them (eye removal and ACL repair). We had both and heald from both. The go above and beyond and are so awesome. I’ll forever be going here and referring others. It’s nice to see someone not being greedy with their prices. Idk if we’d be able to get our dog these surgeries without them. Thank you all!🩷🩷🩷
